Still lagging behind...

But these rigour based challenges are sent to try us, or make us better people, or teach us new habits.... I don't know, but hell, what's going to happen if I don't meet my own impossibly high standards?  Nothing. Nothing will happen and I am NOT doing guilty this year.... Or next....

So, today has been a full on 'head open to mother universe' day with so much excitement I can't contain myself. And yet my partner in greatness isn't here :( so I'm enjoying a glass of Rioja and watching shoite tv with just the dog for company. And as she has starred already this week, let's celebrate the end of the current Rioja harvest.... Ooops soz Andrew...

6th Jan - a tough day at the bra face

Not content with the joint pressure of a vicious cold that, were I a man, be described as man flu, I have also had to cook (admittedly self volunteered in an attempt to jog myself out of the downward bra spiral) and also had to deal with sheer useless, stultifying incompetence which makes me very angry. Therefore I have posted this picture of prosecco gummy bears that I forgot to send with my secret swappers secret Santa. Largely because I am a bad person, nothing more, nothing less. But bear in mind that the competition has taken to shooting pictures of light bulbs..... My good, his bad methinks 

Not doing so well - 5th January

It's not great having missed a day or so - especially as my compatriot is slapping any old pics in the blog saying they're relevant to that day. Plus I've got a horrible cold that's making me feel dreadful and not focus at all on matters creative. 

Enough moaning. Here's today's pic, an excellent idea that should be on every dining table, especially now it's recommended that we should up our brown fat by stimulating it with spicy food :) 

2nd January

My olds are departed, we are shortly off to see Star Wars and the house is somewhat back to sub-normality. One more day of this super long Christmas break and back to work. Shhhhh. Business as usual for Millsy though, she does love cashmere, preferably mine....
